TAXIWAYS AND TERMINAL APRON PAVEMENT REHABILITATION ROBERT MUELLER MUNICIPAL AIRPORT

CLIENT:  CITY OF AUSTIN

CONSTRUCTION COST: $2,500,000

 

Engineering services were provided for the design and construction of taxiway pavement improvements.  The project included associated taxiway lighting and signs improvements and rehabilitation of asphalt pavement around the Terminal Apron.  The services provided included preliminary design, design, bidding and construction phase engineering. The preliminary design phase was completed in Spring 1991, and included field investigation, pavement analyses and rehabilitation recommendations, project cost estimates, construction phasing, and documentation of the results in an engineering report. The design of the project included the preparation of construction plans and specifications for the recommended rehabilitation.
