The project consisted of evaluating a one mile section of Trinity Blvd. Street in Ft. Worth and recommending rehabilitation.
The pavement was exhibiting significant levels of cracking, pumping, and corner breaks, as well as curb misalignment and breakage. A very detailed condition survey was made, including nondestructive deflection testing with the Dynaflect, and smoothness measurements with the Mays Ride Meter. Alternative rehabilitation strategies were designed and analyzed with life cycle costing, and a recommended approach was presented
