ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT AND REVIEW FOR  GEORGETOWN WATER MAIN AND WASTEWATER INTERCEPTOR IMPROVEMENTS

LOCATION:  GEORGETOWN, TEXAS

CLIENT:  CITY OF GEORGETOWN

DATE COMPLETED:  MARCH 1990

This project was an environmental assessment for extending water and wastewater service to some of the outer city limit regions east of IH-35 south of downtown.  Various required environmental review and assessment forms were completed and contracts were made with appropriate state agencies for their comments on the project (Texas Parks and Wildlife, Texas Historical Commission, Texas Water Commission). A finding of no significant impact resulted and the city was successful in receiving funding assistance from the Texas Department of Commerce to complete design and construction.
